Pour in your morning coffee and watch the Slytherin common room come into view on this officially licensed Harry Potter 11 oz Morphing Mugs® Heat-Sensitive Mug. It looks solid black at room temperature, then reveals the Slytherin Room painting from Thomas Kinkade Studios as a hot drink warms the surface. Slytherin fans can enjoy it every day, and it makes a welcome gift for anyone who collects Thomas Kinkade Harry Potter art.
The painted scene wraps all the way around the mug. One side shows an iron chandelier hung with glowing lanterns above stone columns, with teal-green light streaming in behind them. Below, figures in dark robes gather on tufted leather sofas and around a round table scattered with papers and lamps. Turn the mug and a stone fireplace with a lit fire takes center stage, followed by a large tapestry, a framed picture, and a desk lined with books near the handle. Wisps of white smoke frame the artwork at the handle, and the Thomas Kinkade Studios logo appears near the base.
The mug is ceramic and holds 11 oz. A heat-sensitive coating keeps the artwork hidden while the mug is cool, and the full-color scene appears as hot liquid warms the exterior. Once it cools back to room temperature, the mug appears black again, so the reveal returns with every refill. Hand wash only to help protect the specialty finish; the mug is not microwave safe or dishwasher safe.
